40 BARREL BREWHOUSE

We are pleased to offer the remaining former plant equipment from Yakima
Brewing & Malting Company, maker of Bert Grant's ales, which
operated until 2005. This was a 40 barrel production
brewery. The plant
features a traditional solid copper, direct fired 40 barrel brew kettle
built by master coppersmiths Vendome Copper & Brass Works of Louisville, KY.
Currently, we have the complete 40 barrel 4 vessel
brewhouse and grain system only. We have fermentation tanks at other
locations to match the brewhouse.

Bert Grant (1928-2001) was a Northwest brewing icon who launched the first successful microbrewery in the Pacific Northwest.
His influence on the craft brewing industry has been sweeping, and he
was the brewing renaissance pioneer of highly hopped beers including
Grant's Scottish Ale and Grant's India Pale Ale that were the
inspiration for most of today's popular highly hopped beers.
