Ripley Stainless, Ltd. tanks & equipment- Sound Brewing Systems Inc. is Western U.S. representative for brewery tanks and vessels manufactured by Ripley Stainless, Ltd., Summerland, B.C. Canada. Ripley Stainless has manufactured tanks and equipment for the food industry for over 20 years, and our affiliation with them spans more than 10 years. Ripley manufactures equipment to our detailed designs & specifications for our customers. Sound/Ripley equipment has stood the test of time. Our innovative brewhouses combine simplicity, efficiency and uncommon ease of operation in a reliable, low maintenance, energy efficient and aesthetically appealing package. We also supply tanks and equipment for wine, soda, juice, water plants and other process applications.
Grundy tanks (used)--We have a limited supply of used U.K.-built Grundy style tanks in 3.5 and 7 U.S. barrel capacities. We can install fittings and make modifications to them, and retrofit them with new, heavy-duty inswing-outswing manways, dimple jackets, and new S/S legs per customer needs. We can stretch them to any practical size, and in many cases custom polish them for showy appearance. The 3.5 barrel tanks are excellent for CIP tanks.

Control panels-- NEMA 4 (washdown), UL/ETL -labeled brewhouse, conveying system and cellar control panels built to customer needs by a listed panel shop with substantial brewery experience. Variable frequency drives are available as well. We have designed complete mimic-board panels for 4 vessel brewhouses with PLC process controllers and safety interlocks. PC control is also available.
